Since the Spring of 1935, the UMES chapter of the National Pan-Hellenic Council has made lasting impacts on the student body, campus, and within the community. We have set high goals and standards for this chapter to ensure that we not only fulfill our purposes as individual organizations, but that we also fulfill out duties as an elite, and very visible organization on campus. We lead by example both in and out of the classroom by remaining on top of our schoolwork and participating in various campus activities. We encourage the students to do the same by setting both academic and career goals, and becoming actively engaged in their college experience.
While we do operate in a business oriented manner, we also understand that as young people, we all must be well-rounded to succeed in society. With that, we focus on providing the campus with a wide array of events, some as individual organizations and others as the NPHC. Throughout the year we host events that fall into various categories such as educational, recreational, and community based events. We give willingly of our time in hopes to create a brighter tomorrow for the university as a whole. We are dedicated. We are focused. We are leading the way one step at a time.
